The eMagApp

 

The easiest way to get your publications – magazines, brochures, catalogs, leaflets or something entirely different- from print into an App.

The eMagApp Introduction is an example of the Apps you can make with eMagStudio.
All publications from eMagStudio already work on Apple, Android and other smart phones and tablets by default.

The eMagApp is set up to take your publications in eMagStudio and put them into a native container App, along with additional tabs and content.

After publishing your new App, it is directly manageable from the eMagStudio Portal.

How Does the eMagApp Work?

 

It all begins with a license for eMagStudio. All licenses allow you to get eMagApps, and each App costs the same as long as you renew your Service Subscription. Renewing the Service Subscription is required to keep your Apps up and running.

When you have the eMagStudio license, you are ready to prepare your App. Simply create your eMags and upload them to your webserver, or to our complementary eMagCloud. Choose the eMags you want to include in your App, chose an App icon and a loading screen, select a news feed and create a couple of informational pages (Welcome and About) in HTML or a simple image.

We have templates and forms to help you get started. If you want, we can even create the artwork for you (on quote). When you are ready with your content, you submit it to us and pay for your App. We wrap it all up and show you a preview for submission to the App Store or to Google Play (previously Android Market).

From the eMagStudio Portal, you can change the App along the way by changing the eMag links, or links for the Welcome and About pages, as well as updating your news feed. All other changes can be made on demand.

In its first edition, the eMagApp can be sold without any revenue sharing with eMagCreator. A future release will include in-App purchases and submission to Newsstand.
